Destroyer. Dan Bejar initially conceived of Have We Met as a Y2K album. He was already active during the era but not heard overhead in a cafe or salon, which is perhaps what the idea of the Y2K sound evokes nearly two decades later.

Destroyer's Rubies will go down as one of the best albums of of that I can assure you. Rubies is a very difficult album to review, it's hard to say what is so great about it, it just is great. It stands on its own. It has to be heard; not once mind you, but tens of times to realize how truly unique and inventive it is.4/5(8).
